I want art to consider all the problems that the non-creative world is handling.

— Artist statement

World are the subject of Mr Harvey Kareng's paintings. The artist who was born 30 years ago sees himself as an abstract expressionist. To him abstract art is existing in thought or as an idea but not having a physical or concrete existence. He isn't simply painting abstract work buy using line and others forms of texture to give a different emotion. His artworks is a combination of different types of colours which all of them have their own meaning and emotions that were expressed in different texture. Working with oil on canvas, he used the rich tones that oils provides to give his paintings a strong physical presence. The presence is enhanced by his skill of rendering lifelike figures and his sharp eye for manipulating proportion and scale, which often creates a sense of threat or uncertainty. The resulting work transform standard motion of realism into a unique expressive form. He tries to reach beyond the borders- language, religion or tradition and his paintings realises that goal.
