Private Gaze”.
Ben mbuyuluPrivate Gaze explores the intimate relationship between what is seen and what is meant to remain hidden. The gaze becomes a private space, carrying emotions, desires, memories, and thoughts that cannot always be expressed through words. The work reflects on the boundaries between intimacy and exposure, between the image we allow others to see and the part of ourselves that we keep protected. Through the figure and the atmosphere, the painting invites the viewer to question whether a gaze can reveal more than it conceals. Private Gaze is a reflection on intimacy, mystery, and the silent language of human emotions.
