— Artist statement

The urge to create sticks to me like taffy on teeth and I express my everything through my paintings. A piece of mine can reflect the spontaneous or lingering thoughts that consume me, the issues that weigh on society and subsequently my mind or the simple notion that 2 colours look good together. I take inspiration largely from the world around me and the world inside me. I translate these ideas and feelings using acrylic paint on canvas with a simple goal in mind: to share my unyielding passion for the arts.
